Biographical sketch:

 

Chris Wilson lived in Ontario and is now deceased. Unfortunately, we have not received any information that would allow us to identify Chris Wilson [J. Christopher Wilson] more precisely.

 

Scope and content:

 

The fonds bears witness to a gay fête nationale party in Dorchester Square in 1981, and to the desire to preserve these photographs.

 

The fonds contains photocopied archives relating to a gay party during the fête nationale in 1981. It also contains a handwritten letter presenting the copies. The photos show Dominion Square, street art, a game of musical chairs with a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, photos of Ron Stephen, Roger Larry, make-up, the entrance of the Reine de la Fête and Madame Campeau.
