Diffusions gaies et lesbiennes du Québec (DGLQ) is a Montreal-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting LGBTQ+ culture through the arts and artists. Since the year after it was founded in 1987, the DGLQ has produced image+nation, an annual Montreal film festival of international LGBTQ+ films whose mandate is to explore the diversity of LGBTQ+ lives through queer narratives and share them with a wide audience.
Scope and content:
The fonds records correspondence, events and traces of the organization between 1989 and 1990, in its early years.
The fonds contains archives relating to the organization, such as paper office material, promotional material, programs, correspondence, guides, letters of support, a catalogue of audiovisual festivals in Europe and notes.
