Serge Emond is an active member of the Christian homophile community.
Scope and content:
The fonds bears witness to the activities, meetings and gatherings organized by the Christian homophile community and Serge Emond’s involvement with it. There are a number of Christian documents that bear witness to homosexuality in the Catholic religion. The fonds also contains correspondence addressed to Serge Emond in the form of postcards.
The fonds contains a booklet, communications, minutes, correspondence, press clippings, notes, Christian texts, schedules of events, a press release on the ACHUM’s activities, songs and prayers, and a press release announcing the publication of Sortie. In the correspondence section, the files contain numerous postcards in various formats, often with a clear homosexual dimension, some of which are explicit. Finally, the last file contains a photograph of an unspecified person.

Physical condition: The fonds is in good condition and shows no signs of aging. Some documents are fragile and stored in plastic.
Immediate source of acquisition: The fonds was transferred to the AGQ on 22 July 1998 by Serge Emond (acquisition 1998-02).
Language: The files are in French with some texts in English.
